Lucifer Model DL11 fixed downlight modified to
accept fiber optic cable. Finish trim plate with round aperture. Specify
acceptance core diameter, optional lens and finish.
Applications:
These trims are best used in controllable, low ambient light conditions where
the designer wants to introduce varied color transmission or otherwise reduce
relamping labor and heat load. These trims integrate with (and retrofit to) like
low voltage installations. Example: combined fiber optic/ low voltage restaurant
or residential ceiling plans.
The Fiber Downlights below are conventional low
voltage recessed fixtures which have been modified to accept fiber optic cable.
In all models, rear fiber retention bracket and reflector assembly hold fiber
securely in position. These trims have no electrical components and do not
require a housing. All trims are supplied with a face plate for installation in
new or existing construction. All trims are lensed with optically ground glass
for variable spot or flood beam, and will accommodate two supplemental lenses,
louvres or color filter elements.
