Unlensed machined, miniature aluminum fitting,
with flange and threaded body with lock-nut for retaining fitting in position in
up to 5/8" panel thickness. Use adhesive or factory supplied set screw to
maintain fiber in position.
Applications: Case and cabinet lighting,
elevators. Specify finish.
All Fiber Downlights are individually machined to
accept a specified fiber diameter. The numeric tables alongside each fixture
indicate the nominal fiber core diameters, expressed in fractions of an inch,
that will fit into each corresponding fixture.
Note: Fiber optic downlighting
illumination levels are bright, but not yet equivalent to levels achievable with
conventional incandescent lighting fixtures.
